Sheoki

A Living Trust is a legal document created while someone is still alive that allows them to, contribute to thier estate while living, designate a trustee to manage their assets and distribute them to chosen beneficiaries after their death; often with the goal of avoiding the lengthy probate process involved with a traditional will. Essentially, it gives you control over how your assets/estate are handled during your lifetime and after you pass away.

I'm not an Attorney. However, as a Human I recommend a Revocable Living Trust for everyone to stop family scuables and Probate upon death. Living Revocable means you r the Grantor and may update any time; while living. A Living Trust becomes Irrevocable upon your death and then your Sucessor Trustee takes over to ensure your wishes are fulfilled! Well a long story. Sailboats made a big impression on me as a child while living in Stanley Bay, NZ. My first sail boat with sleeping accomodations {a John Spencer design 'Stiletto'; 27' hard chine Sloop.} was named Sheoki. The name is an English word play pronounciation of the Japanese word "Zhong Kui", a figure from Chinese mythology, traditionally regarded as a vanquisher of ghosts and evil beings. I sailed Sheoki around New Zealand in 1976; from Auckland. Heading south down the east cost rounding the Chatham Islands archipelago, turning north rounding North Cape Te Hāpua and finally returning to Davenport Auckland.

My domocile is Melrose, Florida. As of Jan 2025 I am also building a home on a 1 acre lot in Marshall Western North Carolina.

Not currently. My only official flying license was a Private Pilot-Glider certificate. I flew frequently and raced in Barstow California in the 1960's with Helmut Morsebach. I have co-piloted single and twin engine aircraft. My friend Marty Sheridan and I flew and raced in an acrobatic Citabria {Marty rebuilt in his Goleta apartment}; we actually won a few Trophies in California, Nevada and Arizona!! We also had fun in the Channel Islands. As a Hewlett-Packard service tech I flew (rear seat) in a T18 jet; that was fun. While living in Coonamble Australia I (unofficially) flew a Cessna 152 weekly to pick up groceries for a year.
